The Independent Dealer Group IDG was formed in 2002 by a number of privately owned companies involved in the supply of mobile phones and accessories to both business and consumer markets.
Many IDG members have retail outlets in the towns and cities across the United Kingdom and they pride themselves on providing impartial advice and an honest deal for their customers in both the business and consumer sectors.
Together group members work on a wide range of topics connected with their sector. These include:
- Competition and Marketing issues
- Customer satisfaction
- Quality of Service
- Health and Safety
- Environmental Issues
Many IDG members have joined the Silver Award Scheme for Mobile Phone Retailers
Group members work to the FCS Ethical Code of Practice
